Welcome to a structured educational system directed towards Dog and Cat health.

This FREE TO ACCESS digital clinical compendium is your definitive information hub for understanding DOG and CAT

Anatomy, Injuries, Illnesses, Diseases, and Parasites. It is designed to help remove the guesswork, by providing a logical framework to help you understand your pet’s physical well-being through every page you explore here.

The Goal:

Understand, Identify, & Act The purpose of this compendium is to empower you with three specific skills:

• Understand What’s Going On:

Gain a clear view of internal systems, from detailed anatomy to the life cycles of parasites.

• Look for Warning Signs:

Learn to identify the subtle red flags and vital changes that indicate your pet needs professional medical attention.

• Act Appropriately:

Move forward with the confidence and data needed to collaborate effectively with your veterinarian.

• This compendium is an educational resource and is not a substitute for professional veterinary medicine. We do not provide medical diagnoses or treatments.

  Our Mission:

You love your pet with everything you have, but true care requires clarity. You shouldn't have to navigate their health on guesswork alone.

This Dog & Cat Clinical Compendium is your complete health toolkit. From understanding their anatomy and recognizing common illnesses to establishing your pet's unique "normal," we’ve organized the medical world into a language you can actually use.

Disclaimer: This compendium is an educational tool for tracking and information. Always consult your veterinarian for medical emergencies, diagnoses, and treatment plans.

In Development: Expanded Species Medical References

The Logic doesn't stop at dogs and cats. I am currently writing three additional clinical compendiums: Avian, Small Mammal, and a combined Reptile & Amphibian volume.

Because I refuse to publish incomplete data, these extensive reference guides take time to curate. Each volume is being built with the same clinical depth and rigor as the Canine & Feline edition. They are currently in production and will be arriving soon to complete the Petz Logic ecosystem.

If you are looking for something specific, you will find it listed within the table of contents, you can go through the book or hit the 4 squares top right of the book window and that will give you some features and the table of contents. ⬇️

Precision Nutrition: No More Scooping Blind

Most pet Guardians rely on the vague "feeding guidelines" printed on the back of a bag or box. These are broad estimates designed to sell food, not to optimize your specific animal's health.

The Petz Logic Metabolic Calculator changes the math for every species in your household.

Instead of guessing, it uses the Veterinary Clinical Standard formula (Resting Energy Requirement) to calculate your pet's exact caloric needs based on their specific species, weight, Body Condition Score (BCS), and activity level. Whether you measure in cups, grams, or ounces, this tool gives you the exact biological fuel requirement for your specific pet, whether that is a senior dog, a growing ferret, or an omnivorous bearded dragon, not just the "average" animal.

This resource is completely free.

Bookmark this page and stop by anytime to recalculate as your pet’s weight, diet, or lifestyle changes.

While our online hub is always available, the Digital Compendium is designed to travel with you. Download it to any computer or tablet (best viewed this way due to size and detail, but can still be viewed on your phone.) to equip your entire household with actionable guidance and clear protocols the moment a care decision needs to be made.
